I first learned trick roping from a genuine rodeo rider and cowboy from the Bronx. Since then, I’ve invented a few new cow-confounding…moooves. Whenever I take out my rope, people want to know if I can catch cows. I explain that I combine rope manipulation with acrobatics and dance, which puts a whole new spin on trick roping.
