After eight years of classical training, my violin and I took a turn toward the folk. Fortunate to find great mentors among folk and Irish musicians on the regional and national level, I began a freewheeling romp through a number of styles and musical groups. I compose folk-style tunes and often create my own soundscapes for circus performances. Strong in both sight-reading and playing by ear, I now call myself a fiddler and enjoy collaborating with a variety of musicians.
